Natural Great Peace
This teaching explores meditation as a practice for inner peace, and the blessings revealed when we come in touch with the nature of our mind.W The emphasis in this instruction is on naturalness, and on allowing our mind simply to be, unaltered and without changing anything at all. Our real problem is one of manipulation and fabrication and too much thinking. One master used to say that the root cause of all our mental problems is too much thinking. As Buddha said, "With our thoughts we make the world." But if we keep our mind pure and allow it to rest quietly, in the natural state, what happens as we practice is quite extraordinary.

Commentary to Natural Great Peace
When you arrive at the peace of the nature of mind, you discover a vast expanse of great openness. It is like when the clouds drift apart, revealing an endless open sky; as the cloud-like thoughts and emotions dissolve through meditation practice, what is uncovered is the sky-like nature of our mind.
